Taken a Mini Vaca
That's right folks, I am taking a mini vacation for Independence Day During that time I won't be able to get to my computer to blog. Gasp! Say it ain't so Brenda.
No worries though, there will be plenty to do while I am gone. Perhaps you can watch reality TV or read a book or better yet, visit

I will be back early next week to regal you with my wit and up to date Guadalupe County Real Estate Information.I know you read my blog about the Schertz 36th Annual Jubilee where there will be a carnival, food, fun entertainment and even a laser show to replace the fireworks because of the city-wide ban.
But don't forget about Six Flags Fiesta San Antonio, Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels, TX and Sea Word San Antonio. Sea World San Antonio will still be celebrating America's Birthday with their new Killer Whale Show, One Ocean and their New Attraction Sesame Street and the Bay of Play. If you are Active Duty Military or an Activated Reservist or National Guard you can register to get in to Sea World for FREE along with 3 of your direct dependents for 2011 with Anheuser-Busch's Here's to the Hero's Program.
Additionally, San Antonio will still be holding the Woodlawn Lake Parks Annual 4th of July Bash at Woodlawn Lake Park, 1103 Cincinnatti, San Antonio TX. This FREE event will have food, fun and live music all day and special surprise to make up for the missing fireworks. Visitors are encouraged to dress up in their favorite patriotic stuff and participate in San Antonio's Salute to the Red, White and Blue Parade that will kick off around 11 am.
