The Montrose Shopping Park Association is sponsoring their annual Halloween Spooktacular Event on Wednesday, October 31st, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Montrose Shopping Park. As always, the generous merchants of the Montrose area will be hosting Trick or Treat for children from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. This is a wonderful, safe, place for parents to take their children on Halloween.
From 5:00 - 8:00 there will be game booths with carnival games and prizes. A costume contest will take place with sign-ups at 5:00 PM. The contest is at 6:00 PM on the main stage. Prizes will be awarded for the spookiest, the cutest, the most original and for a family.
The Wizard Bruce will do his incredible Magic Show at 6:00 PM at the Pet Costume Contest Stage.
A pet costume contest will take place at 7:00 PM with goodie bags for all participating pets. Sign up at Andersen's Pet Shop or the Glendale Humane Society.
There will also be rides for the kids and many food booths.
In my experience, there aren't many communities left that host a fun, safe, family event like this. Bring your kids, pets and friends on Halloween for a great time.
