A Social Media Fundraiser: Success Story!

Make a wish foundation

Thanks to all of you who supported me in my Make-a-Wish foundation fundraiser! We raised $136 in a little over 48 hours for the Kansas City chapter! All as an experiment through the power of ActiveRain and Facebook.

HOW? I asked for my friends and ActiveRain Rainmakers to LIKE my Fan page (see the box to the right >>>> ) and for each LIKE I would donate $1 to the Make-a-Wish foundation.

I didn't really know what to expect and it was great to see friends and fellow Realtors re-posting the status on their walls to help out. The power of SOCIAL is great! I think I may do this every month to get people involved in it.

**ACTIVE RAIN CHALLENGE**
Are there any Rainmakers out there willing to MATCH my donation of $136 to Make-a-Wish?? Have you been wanting to donate your resources but not "gotten around to it" .... well, take my challenge and click HERE and spend 90 seconds to make a matching donation. Comment below or send me an email if you did! I'd love to know! (jay at remax.net)

Thanks and God bless!  Keep working for something bigger than ourselves!
