Stop Stepping all over me! by Feng Shui Long Island New York consultant Laura Cerrano

When Laura Cerrano New York Feng Shui consultant teaches her clients about the basic Feng Shui principles she tries to connect everyday situations happening in their life to that of a Feng Shui perspective.  Meaning, there are somethings in life we can help change and somethings we leave to the universe to handle.  But, there is such a way were we can collaborate together ;)

Here is a perfect example:

Laura's client, Ben who lives in Setauket New York, shared concerns about not having a good work relationship with his boss.  Before exploring his home, he explained to Laura the words and actions his boss would do when addressing him.  Bottom line, Ben felt no respect, he felt like the boss was aggressive, not responsive to his needs and even said he felt like he was being stepped all over.  Keep that last statement in mind, "being stepped all over".  

Looking around Ben's home, Ms. Cerrano noticed the location of Ben's bedroom.  According to the Ba-gua it was perfect being located in the relationship corner, excellent! Keep in mind, even at home the relationship corner represent personal and business, your home relates to your business.

At the entrance of Ben's bedroom he his sneakers and boots in the closet..which is just fine.  The problem or shall we say problems were:

•  no door to the closet and a mirror reflecting everything in that closet including all the sneakers and boots. 

 From a Feng Shui Perspective "shoes, sneakers, boots", and any other footwear when not worn is seen as symbolizing being stepped on. 

• And! depending on the placement your shoes in the home can enhance that type of energy even more.
• Also.... Remember what your mirrors are reflecting because they double the energy.  

The best location to place them is in a closet with a closed working door, not one that gets stuck...that create a whole other situation.

So, with that being pointed out and suggestions made, with in 2-3 weeks, Ben reported back to Laura.  He shared with her, after his Feng Shui consultation, his boss payed him a complement the other day, "got off his back" and their relationship went from bad, to neutral and now good. 

Again, there were other factors to this story but the main importance was accomplished through simple changes and even more importantly, understanding the intentions behind those changes.
