Delray Beach Fourth of July Events- What Better Way to Celebrate the 4th of July!
If you're looking for the perfect place to take your family to celebrate our Nation's Fourth of July then head east on Atlantic Avenue until you hit the beach!
Delray Beach may be a small town in numbers but when it comes to celebrating, we know how to do it. Grab your umbrella, beach towels and sunscreen because the fun begins at 8 a.m. on the beach at Atlantic and A1A. Artists will be out creating their Sand Sculptures, which will be judged at 1p.m. Come early to see just how they do it, and to cheer on your favorite.
Here are just some of the Activities Taking Place:
2:00 PM Surfer's Memorial - meet at the Flag at A1A and Atlantic to honor fallen surfers.
4:00 PM Cars As Art-beginning at Old School Square the parade will head east on Atlantic to the Seagate Hotel. The cars
5:45-Patriotic Bike & Scooter Parade
6-7 PM- Beautiful Baby Bathing Suit contest-
7PM-8:30- 2nd Annual Hot Dog & 3Lb Hamburger Eating contest.-how many can you eat in 15 minutes??
Fireworks begin at 8:30 with a First Fireworks salute... and can be seen from the ocean, beach, and parts of the Intracoastal
9:00pm Fireworks Display
