LATE FOR DINNER is a local favorite and recognized as one of El Dorado County, California’s favorite performing musical bands. Offering a diverse mixture of Rastamerican Blues, Caribbean Pop, and a unique Reggae Rhythm & Rock Fusion we like to call “High Vibe”.
6:45 pm 3rd Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest
Oh yes, it’s that time of year again – the 4th of July weekend. Fireworks, outdoor barbecues, flag waving patriots…..and hot dog devouring humans? This is the 3rd annual event. Competition will be fierce.
7:00 pm 2nd Annual Watermelon Eating Contest
Be careful you may find yourself involved in one of the quintessential celebrations of summer: a watermelon-eating contest. Lots of messy fun. Winners will walk away with prizes and bragging rights. Sponsored by Food4Less.
7:30 pm MUSIC: Steelin’ Dan
STEELIN’ DAN is Northern California’s premier Steely Dan tribute band! This 10 piece band combines the talents of some of the top musicians in the Sacramento area, which includes an impressive lead vocalist, two female vocalists, a three piece horn section, all supported by a tight four member rhythm-section. Together they recreate the timeless music of Steely Dan in a way that is authentic and powerful!
9:15 pm Fireworks over Cameron Park Lake
Pyro Spectaculars is the largest fireworks company on the West Coast and one of the largest in the country. They have produced fireworks displays at the Superbowl and the Macy’s 4th of July Spectacular in New York City. This is our largest and longest show to date.
