Cruising Down The Blue Ridge Parkway!

This time of year it is a perfect time to see the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you travel West of Charlottesville Virginia on Hwy 64, you can get on at the top of the mountain.

There is a fantastic bridge you go under just before you get on the Parkway.

There will be a lot of motorcycles this time of year, so please use caution.

This is Afton Overlook, almost 1100 feet above the Valley Floor.

What a view, to the left is Albemarle County and to the right is Nelson County.

Take some time and take a drive, it is well worth it!

Oh yes and bring a camera!

BTW: I have a fantastic "referral agent" in Nelson County
(but that is another story)

Beautiful pictures, beautiful countryside....I don't think I've ever been to your area of the country...we were in north-east VA early in the summer of 06. So green.
