Summer Snowmen

Did  you ever play the game of naming cloud shapes as a child? I admit, I still enjoy looking for cloud formations. I was doing just that when my husband said "they look like snowmen."  I grabbed my camera since I was thinking the same thing!

The picture doesn't quite do it justice, so you need to use a little imagination. Wish the day ended better than it started...... got towed in. That's never fun.

Hi Judy,

Your title "Summer Snowman" really got my attention. With a little imagination the clouds definitely looks like two summer snowmen. Have a wonderful 4th of July Weekend!

Judy, even if you got towed in, just being out on the ocean is sooooo worth it! And yes, I remember laying on my back staring up at the clouds, finding all sorts of fun things in them!

Those clouds do look like snowmen!  Very interesting.  I used to love to play the game of naming shapes in the clouds as a kid.

Wandanna - They looked a little more symmetrical when I first spotted them. I wasn't fast enough with getting my camera out.

Andrea - One of my most favorite places for cloud watching was the field at the bottom of the hill. It was loaded with daisies and black eyed susan. Good memories. Happy 4th to you too Andrea.

Michael - Wasn't it fun. My children did it too, but not as much as me and my siblings.

Hi Judy, That is a gorgeous photo. And yes I did as a youngster lay on the ground and see images all the time in the clouds. To this day, I still look for them. I think it is the creative minds that can recognize shapes and images in the clouds.

William - It does not surprise me in the least that YOU also would lay on the ground and see images in the clouds. However, now we capture those fun images and share them in ways we never would have imagined as a child.. Super cool, if you ask me.

Great memories!  I will have to lay on the ground with Jack and Zack and see what they come up with when they watch the clouds!  Sorry about the tow...been there, done that, not fun.

They are summer snowmen!  My husband and I played that game last year when we were in the pool and a storm was building - had a blast!
