One of our favorite places to buy local Strawberries in Clark County, Washington is at the Vancouver Farmer's Market.
Currently, the Vancouver Farmer's Market has fresh local strawberries for sale - and they are the first season's crop of June bearers, which produce the largest berries. In addition to being delicious, Strawberries contain cancer fighting ellagic acid, but also easily absorb pesticides, so read labels carefully, or ask questions. We choose only organically grown berries for our household.
Nothing beats the flavor of fresh strawberries and it just makes good sense to support the efforts of our local growers.
