Observe the picture below...It speaks well and invokes within us a response. Mine had to do with the principal of time. There are three converging points of view here. The mountain, the root and the observer of it all, but who is observing who? Each moves in and out of its own time and makes for an interesting observation/conservation

TIME IS DIFFERENT FOR ALL

The mountain is probably millions of years old...let that sink in. Millions of years...Then, near by, literally plants itself and then roots its way to life. No excuses, nothing to stop it or come against it, it travels suffering as it goes with one mission in life....to succeed. Then, the observer enters into the picture and the three meet and then cross over into each others lives..

Millions of years meets 80 years who meets me... 59 years

THIS ROOT WILL NOT ACCEPT NO FOR AN ANSWER...how about you..?

Morning, Richie! I have always been inspired by the little wildflowers and trees that plant themselves into boulders and then manage to thrive!  On the other hand, I am sometimes discouraged by the garden plants that I baby and nourish only to have them die!  Maybe there is a lot to be said for freedom even in the plant world! 

I subscribed to your blog this morning . . . I actually have few subscriptions as I feel it might make me less likely to wander the field and find new treasures.  Just wanted to let you know that it has been your thoughtful comments and responses to comments that led me there as much as your blogs.  Have a wonderful week!

I have a flower pot which is tilted in the winter to avoid getting rained in to.  This summer I noticed a plant growing out of the bottom from a small crack.  Yes, I marvel at the way nature thrives (and survives).  Good lesson Richie!!
