Serious buyers are buying homes during 4th of July weekend

The smell of BBQ is everywhere, kids and teenagers are shooting fireworks, lots of celebration indeed during the 4th of July weekend which has come and gone.

While many people were enjoying the long weekend, had some time off with their friends and family; it has not slowed down my clients of looking at houses, making offer and buying a house.  I have 3 sets of pre-approved buyers worked with me this weekend, 2 offers were written, 1 got accepted already.  What a way for them to add some sparks to celebrate 4th of July!

They are smart buyers, they know most of the people are celebrating the weekend, they take advantage of their free time and less people are looking at houses; and they got the house they wanted, too.  Another client is planning to put an offer on a house this week also, that will make all my 3 pre-approved buyers a new home owner in August! The hot sun sure does not slow down these serious buyers, and these go getters sure know what they want and they mean serious business.

If you are a serious buyer who is pre-approved, or wanting to get pre-approved and ready to buy now; don't delay the buying process any longer, nice homes are not going to stay on the market long.  My clients definitely understand the importance of acting fast, and they don't waste any time, they put an offer on the house they like and want immediately. The most important part is they started with a realistic offer, that's how we got it worked out so quickly.

My job is to help my clients to understand what the market is doing and educate them with facts and hope they use the materials I gave them to make a wise offer.  I am glad they did.

Take advantage of the low interest rate, you can also become a new home owner like my clients do.  The market is doing better than many people think.  Don't follow the negative news, my pre-approved buyers sure didn't.  You need more guidance?  Feel free to give me a call, I will be glad to help you.

Serving Marion, West Memphis, Crawfordsville, Hughes, Horseshoe Lake, and surrounding areas.  If you are planning to sell or buy, please feel free to give me a call, I will be glad to help you.

Hi Rita. Now, it a Great Time to Buy. It's good to hear that you had some serious buyers, who took advantage of their Free time to go house hunting this holiday weekend. Great job on getting one offer accepted.

Jerry, thank you!!  It was a very productive weekend for me.  I worked most of the holiday, and spent the 4th of July with my family, I had at least one day off, not bad at all.  ;)

NO rest for the productive. It is always nice to see people who consider this a profession vs. a part time job. around here there are a lot of Realtors that have full time jobs. It is hard enough to get a hold of them on a normal day, cant imagine trying on a holiday weekend!

Mathew, being a real estate professional is different than holding other types of job, in my opinion.  Most of my clients work very well with me, and I also try to accommodate their schedule as much as I can.  It is about customer service and how we explain and work with our clients, it works out fine with me. ;)

Susan, thank you!  The buyer was so excited to get the deal sealed on July 4th.  I am very happy for them also, they are very easy to work with.

Rita, congrats on getting that offer accepted.  What savvy buyers to have picked a winner of an agent!  Glad you got to work in at least one day off.
