We don’t have any prairies here, but we did have this pond and this little house that couldn’t have been much more that 500 sqft. I don’t know the story behind the house, but I am looking into it. The house seems to sit upon Clackamas County Park lands, so I’m hoping there is a story there. But, no matter what the story, it made for a great picture. I hope you enjoy our Little House on the Pond.

Todd,

There is always a story when parks end up with homes large or small.

What a spectacular photo.  Did you find this while park hopping with the kids?

Todd, this really gets the imagination going too. What great stories could be told about this one. It could almost be the beginning of a truly good novel. Great shot!

I bet there is a story for sure!  And I can almost hear the frogs croaking as I look at your photo!

It's a sweet house, Todd.  It reminded me of a sweet house on a pond I drive by near my home.  If I get a photo, I'll share it!  Thanks for sharing this one!

That is just a great way to present the house.  Shooting across the water really communicates the beauty.

Todd, the black and white of the photo make it look like the trees could be covered in ice. Sweet picture!

Todd, your little house by the pond is so charming!  It probably does have a wonderful story - perhaps a bunch of them.
