SOLD for $405,000:  Single Family Home in Haymarket on Just Under 4 Acres

This home, built in 1977, was placed on the market for $410,000 by it's original owner on April 20th.  By May 8th, this nicely renovated home had found it's next owners.  Settlement was scheduled for July 5th to allow for the Buyers to sell their own property and get their inspections and loan in order.  Meanwhile, the Seller had to have the well water tested, septic inspected and inspect for termites.

After a minor septic repair and some small home inspection items, the Seller was done with their obligations under the contract.  And the Buyers got a great deal. All parties signed the paperwork today.  The home sold for $405,0000 and the Buyers even got $8,000 in closing cost help.

In Bristow, Gainesville and Haymarket the cookie cutter communities that sprung up during the real estate boom do dominate our area sales.  Older homes that have been well maintained and renovated, that sit on larger pieces of land with no home owner's association are still in demand.

If you're thinking of buying or selling a home in the Haymarket, Gainesville or Bristow area, give me a call.

Barbara:  I'll be at my goal of 21 before I know it.  May be time for a new goal.

Cindy:  The Buyers were thrilled.  And since their agent was stuck in the mess on Route 66, I got to share their settlement moment with them.  So great!

Dana:  Thanks.  Closing a sale never loses it's excitement.

Laura:  Alls well that ends well in my book.  There were some bumps in the road, but we got to settlement.  That's all the Buyers and Seller cared about.

Chris Ann, that's quite a turn-around time and selling so close to the original list says to me Haymarket is much in demand.  Congrats to you and your clients.
