How is your email inbox these days since you started blogging? Is it filling up more quickly? The better question might be – is it ever empty. Since I began blogging on Active Rain (only a few weeks ago), I have seen a substantial increase in traffic through my inbox.

Of course, one of the main reasons I am blogging for our team is to help build relationships with others in the real estate community. We are hoping that we can eventually do some business with many of you. If this is one of your desires also, drop me a note. We are happy to add links and associations, but we like to get to know people a bit first because Who You Are Speaks Louder than Words.

I just added Broker Bryant to our links. I’ve been reading him fairly regularly and he certainly seems like a person I would like to send some business to. I also, added Marianna Wagner in Colorado Springs to my associates list. The girl has spunk! What about that Derek? Can we expect to hear from him in the future?

Here are a couple of emails I received recently in their entirety. This is my first introduction to each individual. What you see is what I got.  I have added the links to the websites and blogs for your convenience. My question to you is – What do you think? Give me your comments. (see my lcomment below #4 for some clarification)

Harper Team,
What's up? You didn't join Everything California nor did you join Listings by Address.

I need your participation so that California will out perform the other states.

Please consider, we would love to have your input!

I think the second one..that guy Scott is good...lol

But, he mispelled "clients", one of his pet peeves...

I respect your looking around the network for opinions. Not many do so and add people on the network as an associate rather quickly. The associates that I have on my network have had good communication with me and I can feel confident in passing my clients to them for advice and guidance!

Have a great weekend! We're off to Hawaii for a week of fun in the sun and a U2 concert :)

Would you consider a Do-it-yourself Home Staging link? I offer an affiliate program so your site visitors can purchase their own Home Staging Instructions.

I used to live in Danville. Love it up there.

I guess I need to add a little about the direction of my thoughts. Look at the first email. Is it just me or is it a little aggressive? Hey Harper Team

And then it's all about the author and her needs. No introduction. And No signature.

Then there's Scott's. Hi Guys.. just want to introduce myself and how I work... It's all about what he can do for us and our clients.

Who am I going to do business with? You tell me.

It's aggressive, which is probably the way their business is conducted. I appreciate the kind thoughts and clarification on your thoughts :)

Have a great weekend!

John~ I never even thought about openly emailing someone on AR, until I established some sort of rapport first. Even then, well you know me pretty much by now. I figure if I make a connection those are the people I might work great with.Maybe I just need to be more aggressive...?
