You are calling my heart up north...when the chill came on quickly last week I didn't expect it. I think Michigan still has Indian Summer coming. Nothing like a beautiful Northern/Eastern/Western/Southern Michigan drive on a gorgeous 60 something afternoon with a little sunshine!

They are just starting here. The sugar maple are partially colored. The Great Lakes creates several growing zones which allow people to drive relatively short distances for a few weeks and still be in peak and near peak colors.

I love this time of year also! Michigan is the absolute most gorgeous state for fall colors. I guess it's time I took the kids to a cider mill. Spicers in Hartland anyone?

Hi Gary, My and I husband just took our yearly color tour along the lovely shores of Lake Michigan this past weekend...Holland, Saugatuck, Fenville areas. What a perfectly enjoyable day we had...just doesn't get any better. :-)
