Helping HandsMany people have good intentions with their helping ideas. Helping people buy and sell homes, helping a friend with a sick cat, helping clean up litter along the roadway, helping feed the homeless or working stocking shelves at a food pantry. But where the rubber meets the road is

Getting Out Of Your Head With Helping In Life.

Helping people in all sorts of manners takes getting out of your head with the thought and getting to the action stage. Call someone, email someone, walk out the door and volunteer. In essence,

    BE PROACTIVE.

Gary-Well that is being done in my case in MANY ways and it thanks in large part to some wonderful caring ladies. We all need to be more proactive and less reactive. We all need to be the change we want to see in the world.  We can all do it if we make the choice to.

Gary

I always say whenever you feel sorry for your lot in life just go out and volunteer to help others. Somehow your lot in life becomes less important. Nothing...Nothing.....matters more than helping others.

You are right volunteering always makes an individual feel better they are not only helping others but helping themselves.

There is so much all around us that we can do.  Even if we only help one person, it can make a tremedous difference.  Good reminder.

Too many people just sit on the sidelines & watch. You have to get out there and DO. Shutup, stand up & just do it.  Help someone out, do what's right.

There are many great causes that could use more helping hands. It benefits all involved and creates positivity where it is often lacking! Great words Gary!

Very good reminder, Gary, sometimes I get overwhelmed thinking about how much there is to do... I need to just pick something I can do now and HELP.

Gary, it's a disease; get ready, get ready, get ready.....................I strive to remember that the pain of discipline weighs OUNCES and the pain of regret weighs TONS!  Get into Action............I think I'm speaking to myself!

I was telling someone today that my business model has changed and for the first time in my career I am so focused on first time home buyers.  It feels so great to be helping young people make good decisions about their first home and make sure they get a good loan and a good rate.  I'm lovin it.

Love the photo Gary and we should as you say, "be the change you want to see in the world" and live by example - words are just words, good actions are what's required. Thanks for the reminder!
