Henderson Real Estate Report - June 2011

Home sales in Henderson NV rose by 9.8% from May to finish the first half of 2011 on a positive note.  Year-over-year sales were up 6.1% with 640 Henderson homes sold in June, compared to 603 in 2010. The mix of available Henderson homes for sale is 39.6% short sales, 39.0% regular sales and 21.4% bank owned.

The median selling price for single-family homes in Henderson is down 14.6% from June 2010 to June 2011. At $158,000, this is an decrease of $4,500 from May, and down $6,000 from the start of the year.
