I remember making my first phone call. We had no dial on the phone. We would pick up the phone and an operators voice would say "Operator", we would then state the number we wanted to be connected to.
It would sound like this; Operator please connect me to GI-7-4928, that was my fathers work number. The operator would then say, "One moment please", and then we would hear the phone ring until my father answered.
That was then. This is now.
A new iPhone4, connects to "my contacts" in seconds, permits me to "text", take pictures in 5 MG quality, even takes video movies with such simplicity that I made one without realizing I was doing it. I can check the weather for the next 5 days at the touch of a button, already set up for me.
But this is what is truly amazing, I can take my office with me where ever I go. No wires.
I can log on to my website, show prospects my High Definition Virtual Tour, or my audio video tour of houses I have listed for sale, which is on youtube. All from my phone. It's come a long way in the last few years.
And this is just a small portion of it's capabilities. When I load my QR code to show buyers and sellers the houses I have listed for sale, I can be anywhere, even on the Staten Island Ferry.
My QR code will be on my signs and flyer's for customers to see what the features are on the houses I sell.
What a wonderful world.
