Last week or so I was watching Oprah and she had her favorite resident decorator on her show, Nate Berkus. He unveiled a few makeovers and in between when Oprah was trying to get a rise out of her audience she more or less said,
I believe your home should rise up to you.
This really stuck with me...and I wanted to share it. For even the small cost of a great handbag, this is possible. And in the same way most of us enjoy nice clothing, shoes or a great suit and certainly we know presentation is important so to should we take pride in our home. When we invite someone into our home it says volumes about who we are.
There could be lots of beautiful interiors out there - homes would sell more quickly and real estate sales and home staging would benefit greatly!
