Friend of mine just sent me this email. Too funny!

: President's Day

I had lunch on the 20th of February with my 10-year-old grandson and I
asked him, "What day is tomorrow?"

He said "It's President's Day!"

He is a smart kid.

I asked "What does President's Day mean?"
I was waiting for something about Washington or Lincoln ... etc.

He replied, "President's Day is when President Obama steps out of the
White House, and if he sees his shadow we have one more year of
unemployment."

You know, it hurts when coffee spurts out your nose...

Karen- OMG, that's funny.....but sadly true at the same time. Hadn't heard that one before. Guess he saw his shadow. The unemployment number today was dismal.

I don't know the American people sure do like their free handouts. Why work when you can get an unemployment check for 3 years and stay in your house for 12 months without making payment. 12 months of no payments is nice vacation AND a good start to getting the funds necessary to move on.

Thanks for the chuckle this morning. That was a good one.

I hope that young man doesn't get "indoctrinated" into "stupid thinking" at school. Our schools are so good at teaching "government goodness, liberal ideals, and acceptance of immorality" and that all things conservative should be removed from classrooms, and government.
