Targeting your Perfect Home

Real Estate Agent with Lisa Von Domek Team TX License #0552989

Are you ready to buy a new home?  Here are some of the things to consider when targeting your Perfect Home:

·         Tell me about the style you like, whether it’s a two-story, contemporary, ranch or something else.

·         List your priorities in home features, such as a two- or three-car garage; gourmet kitchen; etc.

·         Think about your lifestyle. Do you entertain a lot? Is yours the home where all the neighborhood kids gather? Do you hate yard work?

It amazes me that some home buyers really can't seem to answer those questions! Some just have to look and look and look some more before they seem to find the right home. Recently had some home buyers move into the area, said they did a lot of the "leg work" by searching online to "narrow" down what they wanted. When, they arrived into town they was "all ready" to go look at two homes they had it narrowed down to. Well, those didn't seem to be what they wanted at all. Many many questions later and many many homes later, we finally walked into the "right home". New construction rather than "re-sale" and a ranch with no formal dining room, after we spent many days looking mostly at two story homes with fomal living room and dining room. Some homes buyers have no idea, and some are way to specific for their budgets and have to give up some of their "wants" to get down to only their "needs".
