Lake Tahoe, CA.  In Tahoe City, which is on the North Shore of the lake is the outlet that feeds the Truckee River.  As you walk across the bridge, you see people looking down, down into the river...  Are they looking at ducks?  No.....  Geese?  Nooooo...  People swimming? Nooooo...  At me?  Nooooo....

Trout...  Rainbow, maybe brown trout, maybe brook trout, maybe steelhead?  But they are big...  Longer then your arm from the elbow.

Trout at the bridge

They are just chillin' out there under the bridge...  And people are throwing in frozen peas, and fish food that you can buy at the store next door.  And the chop at it, like hungry goats at a petting zoo.

Trout

As I pan my broken camera back (yea, remember how my son threw sand and water at it... lol!!!!!) you can see how many are there.  People are fishing for them down stream and catching them, but youcan't fish from the bridge.

Outlet Dam

When you stand of the bridge, this is the outlet that you look at, and the fish are right under the bridge.  All I can say, is looking at these big fish made me hungry, so I had to head across the street for lunch.  :)

Your photo blog is great.  The pictures are wonderful and the bridge looks so pretty. It made me want to visit and walk on that beautiful bridge.

Tahoe City is a wonderful and relaxing city Chris! I have stood on this bridge many many times! I have yet to remember a bog of frozen pees! Did you have time to raft down the Truckee River?

P.S. I am re-blogging for  my local readers!
