You were all there!
I so wish I would have had time to write this blog post this morning when everything was vivid and alive in my mind, when I could have been witty and creative and made a fabulous story, when I didn't have a day full of other-ness bouncing around in my brain, and when it wasn't the middle of the night. Alas, here I am now to recount the dream I had, lest I never be able to recall any details again.
Apparently I've been spending too much time on Active Rain lately. Last night I had a dream. I was at Rain Camp in Seattle. I've never been to Rain Camp, so it was only what I imagine it to be. Everyone was there, all the big players (in my mind) from AR - ie those I have blog subscriptions too or those that write a lot of comments that I read, etc.
The unfortunate thing about trying to recollect a dream many hours later is that much of it is fuzzy and the rest of it has already been forgotten. Besides random cocktail parties and "groups" getting together as live bunches I also remember some contests that we did but in person instead of as blogs (all too fuzzy to be able to really explain). Unfortunately, that's about all I can remember about it now, though I know there was much more detail.
The other weird thing was the addition of some television characters . Did any of you watch "Ugly Betty" on ABC? Well, if you did there were 4 characters from Ugly Betty in my dream, Betty Suarez, Daniel Meade, Amanda & some random short person that I don't remember from the show. However, in the dream they weren't Ugly Betty characters. They were Betty's entourage. Her name was Betty, but they were real people with no connection to fame or a television show. They were there for the AR convention. The strange thing about it though (yes, it gets stranger) was that for each of those 4 characters, there was a counter character that looked the same but who was "nerdy" and the Betty entourage was taking their doppelganger and giving them a makeover.
