Pay it forward..a literal pay it forward for my Personal Trainer

I have been going to Club Sport and working out with a personal trainer Angie Kimura for quite a while now. Lately I've just Angie Kimura, personal trainer at Club Sport gotten way burnt out and the mornings that have always been good for me through my life to workout...have become very hard.

I've been mulling taking a break around in my mind for a while. I'm at that point where I need to just work out on my own for a bit to see if I can stick to a schedule. When I joined Club Sport, I was living in Tualatin, so just a real quick ride to the gym. Since I've moved to West Linn...the drive is quite a bit longer..and those mornings come around quick.(yeah..give me any excuse right)

So..when I broke it to here the other day (gosh..it was like breaking up with a boyfriend or something..hard) I told her to just take those already paid for sessions knowing that she would be working at a loss with one less client...we all know how that is.

My "pay it forward" this week was literally paying forward those sessions already booked and paid for. My goal is to get back with her in the fall...or sooner if I end up "falling off the exerize wagon" . I'll miss seeing her each week..as she is not only a great personal trainer, she's become a friend.

If you live in the Tigard. Tualatin, or Lake Oswego areas and need a great Personal Trainer, go to Club Sport and ask for Angie Kimura. She will take care of you.

Cindy - that's a nice pay it forward that I'm sure someone is going to love taking advantage of. Some people need the discipline of a personal trainer and others find that they can manage on their own. Good luck to you!

Hi Susan, I used to be real good on my own..but for a while really needed the trainer. My goal is to get back to doing it on my own..at least for a while. I was never really a gym girl..more working out from home so we shall see. I just felt bad so figure she has a good couple of weeks to maybe slip another client into my spot and have that back up paid session if she doesn't.

Cindy- I thought getting a personal trainer would help motivate me and I found myself still not able to find a way to get to the gym. The days are too short, there's not enough time, blah, blah, blah. You're doing far better than a lot of us in that you at least go!

I'm amazed that you found yourself to the gym early morning for as long as you did. Everyone needs a break and I'm sure you're not the first client that's taken one.

Hi Margie, That was one of the reasons why I had gotten one, to force me to go to the gym knowing I would be paying if I didn't show. The problem is that it has been a really bad allergy season here..so the mornings for me have been fairly rough to head to the gym and move..LOL. I am much better lately at night in the summer when the sun doesn't go down until well after 9PM.

Hi Jill, when I found myself ultra dreading getting ready to be at the gym, I knew It was just time to take a break and start working out from home for a bit. It wasn't doing her or me any good when I would cancel.
