Technology Can Be Overwhelming

I just held a class for Century 21 Peninsula in North Portland this morning with our Director of Technology, Nick Bostic.

I was impressed by all of the technology that is out there to help Real Estate Brokers, Lenders- and heck anyone doing business succeed! There are plenty of free and inexpensive tools out there.

Such as:

Postlets.com
Blogging tools
Constant Contact
ListingPromoterCTOR
Craigslist.com

eh, I think craigslist is over rated....it takes sooo long to sort through the junk from the good stuff. That website needs to get something going over there to make it less spammy and less scams everywhere (if you ask me). But the rest of the list looks great, thanks for sharing.

Yes, I find scams and junk on Craigslist some of the time but they do have an easy spam reporting button on there.

Although Craigslist may appear to have too much spam and scams, one of the big points I always make is that, as a Realtor, to keep up with your competition you need to use it. It isn't a tool that will typically set you apart (unless you use Postlets, VFlyer or some other type of service), but at least in Portland, sellers expect that you'll use it.
