Best Beaches Near Needham, MA

It is going to be a great beach week and if you are in my neck of the woods here are some suggestions and i will add more as the week goes on.

Not too far to drive would be Crane's beach.  It is wonderful and I went there growing up and have very fond memories. North of Boston, head to Crane Beach in Ipswich, one of the most picturesque sqimming beaches in all of  New England, on Argilla Road, Ipswich, MA 978-356-4354 

Top off the day with clams or go to Woodman's in Essex and really have a super time.  What a blast that would be.

Then my all time favorite is Wingersheek in Gloucester on Atlantic Avenue.  Gotta go and spend a day there. It is a delight.

I love Nantasket Beach and it is even closer than the first 2 beaches.  Growing up I lived closer to Cranes and Wingersheek Beach.  Nantasket is really wonderful and a pretty ride.
