Hey, Hey, I’m a believer! That is exactly how I felt after taking my youngest to see her favorite group in the world The Monkees! Our family went to the concert on Saturday night and I have to say it was so enjoyable.

They played all their hits, they even played a lot of their stuff you never get to hear and the stories that went along with them. They played on stage just like they did during their episodes 45 years ago. They really made a great first concert for my daughter and certainly didn’t disappoint her.

If you get a chance to see them in concert, go it will be worth it. They will give you a fun night of fun, stories and songs from your youth and you will be so glad you went, I know we are! All I can say now is Hey, Hey, I’m a believer!

2. Were the Monkees really ever that young? They look about 12 and I had a crush on "the older man!"

That is clearly one of the deepest songs ever put together - "Then I saw her face - oooo ooo - Now I'm a believer, I couldnt leave her if I tried" I'm sure anyone thinking of divorce just sings that song and then they stay together...

Hey - they were never intended to be deep. Only fun. And you clearly were having fun.

Hi Todd - I know that must have been fun. I enjoyed the Monkees too, and saw them not long ago as musical guests at a conference, doing about a half dozen songs. I'm sorry Mike Nesmith is no longer with them, but he has gone on to bigger things behind the scenes. A fun group and some happy memories of carefree days.
