I just returned from a week to Canim Lake, a somewhat remote lake in the interior of British Columbia. We were at my cousin's lakeside cottage having a family retreat. No phone service, no internet. It was marvellous. The weather was cooperative, with the exception of one day of clouds and a touch of rain.
It was just a lazy week of playing Upwords, cards, darts, reading, fishing, walking to Canim Falls and good conversation.
