Speaking Real Estate DOOM?

Ever hear someone say....

My feet are killing me..
I'm just dying to see ____________
I think i'm coming down with the flu
I think i'm catching a cold!
The Real Estate Market is BAD!!

Now, in visualizing the above, can you imagine a pair of feet taking hold around someones neck and strangling them? How about going to see a favorite singer, and after taking a look, just dropping down dead! Imagine running as hard as you can to catch up with the fast-as-lightening-moving common "cold"? Have you seen the Real Estate Market standing in the corner with a dunce cap on it's head waiting to get paddled?

Did you not know that death and life has been left in the power of the tongue? What you SPEAK has power! Creative Power! Every time you open your mouth to speak... it's either death or life coming out! Even if you're just thinking it.... it will come out eventually! (Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks!) Did you not know that you can HAVE what you say?? Mark 11:23

Our Creator, created EVERYTHING by SPEAKING first.... HE said, "Let there be".... and it was! HE has given us an example, and passed that authority on to emulate HIM. Did you not know you have power to turn things around?? If the industry is saying a thing..... DON'T SPEAK WHAT YOU HEARD.... DO NOT LINE UP YOUR THOUGHTS WITH WHAT YOU SEE!! Instead try speaking words of faith.... CALL THOSE THINGS THAT BE NOT.... AS THOUGH THEY WERE..... and choose not to allow contrary influences to take you off your PURPOSE..... no matter how things look!

LOOK UP! Speak life! Use your creative GOD-given power to turn a negative mindset unto a victorious outcome!

Hi Diane...love the post....! Form follows thought..I believe that....hey I noticed that you are a property manager?? I would love to pick your brain...I am trying to get my own business off the ground doing just that I have had everyone tell me not to....what do you suggest...thank you...

Now, there are some excellent articles listed in our Property Management Group. I encourage you to read some of them and join us! The BEST advice i can give you would be to follow your heart! You just may be cut out for it. This is a great time to get into it since many are seeking management companies to rent their sitting listings.... Property Management is thriving.

The Best education you can get on this is hands on... there are many markets.... commercial, homes, apartments, condo rentals, vacation rentals, etc. Find out what is your niche market, stick with and perfect it.

Diane-How true that is and God has given you the voice to speak out to all of us and remind us that "The Secret" really hasn't been a secret, it's been around for thousands of years. I love "The Secret" don't get me wrong, but that particular book and DVD have really brought to light what has been taught in the Bible for so long. Oh and the positive, it breeds goodness. In my own life I,ve always found that once I,ve been thinking about doing something for a while I try out saying it to a couple of people. I then know right away if it is the right thing for me to do. The spoken word is truly a powerful tool. Thanks for your as usually good insight.

Diane, Excellent Post! It took me 46 years to figure out that there is only one person that can change my life and that is me and this one thought propelled me into real estate. This is not to say I've had a horrible life but as with most others, have certainly had my struggles. At this time I choose to see the good and be grateful for my blessings. I will no longer survive in the tyranny of the urgent nor focus on the negatives, for this is just painful...which brings more pain.

What you think and feel is what you bring back to yourself and into to others lives...be grateful, see the good and be happy!

Diane, one of my favorite books by Charles Capps focuses on that same thing! He says take these GOSPELS to get healthy!

Preach on. We have the power from our Lord. We just dont use it as we should. Words can destroy and words can be uplifting. Take a choice.

I totally agreed with you.. every-time someone says to me... How's the R/E market I just say ....it's doing fine...It's just a transition and it's doing fine in some areas... I always try to say something positive... I know that what you speak is very powerful and we have to be positive during this time..... God will protect us during this time and he will give us ideas and ways to be fruitful.

Diane- Another fantastic post, it is so true- the more life that I speak over my situations, the more positive things begin to happen. I received a commission check this week, from a situation that could have easily gone bad, when the original lender yanked the file 2 hours before closing. I chose to speak life into the situation, and 3 days later with a new lender, we went to docs and closing. God Is GOOD! Blessings and Peace to you my sister, I love ya, and hope all is well!

Diane we tend to produce according to our attitude, so if that attitude is negative we will produce negative results, but if our attitude is positive we will produce positive results. I don't know about everyone else, but I want to be positive about what is a head instead of complaining about what is already behind me.

Diane, the power of the spoken word is such a powerful thing. Like you said, everything God began he spoke into existence. This really goes along with sowing and reaping, and when it comes to life, business, family, relationships we need to remember and be conscious of the seeds that we are planting with our speech.

Stephen! Well said! And when the power erupts from our mouths there is no receeding... it goes into action.... that's why it's better to NOT TO SAY a thing rather than say a thing and regret it! GOD's Word does not return unto HIM void, but it accomplishes HIS purpose... as like you said, we also should know that we too will have to give an account of the words we speak!

I for one am looking forward to hearing more of YOUR words! Thanks for contributing some wise ones.
