7 Comments on ALAMEDA PARKS - GODFREY PARK
Evelyn, Great localism post about Godfrey Park. Thanks for submiting to Do Not Worry ~ Today
It is nice to see you again.
Hi Evelyn.
Is it me or does Alameda have a lot of parks? I always imagined Alameda as an industrial city. I probably should have did a little research before jumping to that conclusion.
Mary: Thanks for your kind comment. I wasn't sure if my post was right for Do Not Worry - Today.
Tom: Yes, and I am going to write about everyone of them. We may have had industry at one time. During WW II. We have very little industry now.
Evelyn
And I live directly across one of the better parks (for me anyway, because it's literally my front yard): Little John Park.
You gotta love these little parks.
Pacita:
Yes and it is one of only two parks named for women. Thanks for commenting and hope all is well with you.
Take care.
Looks like yoiu have some beautiful parks in your neck of the woods. Thanks for visiting my blog!
Janna:
Thank you for your comment and for visiting my blog. We do have lots of small parks but the big ones are spectacular. Hope you weekend is productive.
