How To Manage Your Facebook Page in 15 Minutes Per Day
I have had a business Facebook page for a few months now and really wans't quite sure what to do with it. I found this blog on AR and thought it was worth reblogging as it has some very useful information. I now have found a way to keep my Facebook page up to date in just 15 minutes a day! For my friends and clients that do not have a Facebook account, I can send them links via email on useful information found on Alltop.com and Patch.com. Great way to stay in touch!
Putting a system in place to manage your Facebook page in 15 minutes per day is one of the most important steps you can take to easily incorporate social media into your overall marketing plan.
How to Manage your Facebook Page in 15 Minutes Per Day:
1. Put it in your schedule: Choose a 15 minute block of time that you can commit to on most days and block out that time in your calender. For many agents 9:00am – 9:15am is a great time to post as statistics show that is when many other people are on Facebook.
2. Find reliable sources of content from which you can share articles: Many Realtors find the following sources of content to be reliable day-in and day-out:
a. Alltop.com
b. Your local Patch.com website
c. Your local newspaper
d. Yahoo Finance, CNN Money, Wall Street Journal, Inman News, RIS Media
e. Your mortgage loan officer, real estate attorney, and other referral sources
3. Share content and give you own, brief commentary: In a few clicks you can keep your page up-to-date, provide your database with valuable information, and strike up a conversation.
4. Share something once or twice per day then GET OUT! Many Realtors are surprised when we tell them they should be spending less time on Facebook. Once you’ve posted what you need to post, log-off of Facebook and move on with your day. Leads will get in touch with you if they need to.
