What's On Your Desk right there next to your blogging machine?

What’s On Your Desk

My built-in dictionary is just to limited, the on-line one to clumsy.

What’s On Your Desk

When you know just the right word, but can't spell it*, look up a synonym!  When you don't know just the right word look up a synonym!

* "I" "T"

 What’s On Your Desk

It's a sad sad sad world we've created when English isn't enough in an English speaking country!

What’s On Your Desk

Some times it's necessary to say it right as apposed to being yourself.

What’s On Your Desk

Borrowed power!  Reinforce yourself by association! I'm more likely to do a Google search, this is my back up!

What’s On Your Desk

You need to roll-up your sleves, take off your computer glasses and open a book!

What’s On Your Desk

My friend "The Marketing Gorilla" sits near by to remind me to stay the course!

 look up a symoyn!

Bill I have a dictionary and thesaurus next to my desk, so now I guess I have to add a pair of glasses, and a stuffed gorilla if I want to keep up with the Archambault .......... LOL

George,

I also have two alligators a big one about 3 feet and a small one about 9 inches. We got them in New Orleans 6 days before Katrina. They remind me to avoid real estate projects that can't feed themselves! The little one reminds me that even a little negative (cash flow) can kill you!

Brenda got me the stuffed gorilla after I wrote about gorilla marketing.

Hi, All those things I have in the on-line formate now. Though the books are within easy reach. What I have close to me is my collection of porcelain Eagles and they inspire to me to keep my spirits lifted, hold true to the principles and loyalties I value in life and hold dear and a constant reminder that I can only soar if I choose not to rustle around with the chickens. Be the leader by example and responsible for the outcome. Thanks for the reminder to look at them more often.

Bill - Personally, I need to read more.

As far as the question posed above ... a beer, pack of smokes, and 5,009 points less than you here on AR.

I've got a birthday coming up and with it, a little resolution.  That resolution is to read more and come back with a vengeance when writing.  Of course I'll continue to drink less, smoke less, think more and continually try to evolve.

Say Hi to Brenda from the both of us.

Love,

Me:)

Jason,

Most of us know you abruptly started over at about 80,000 points, you'll always have those as far as we're concerned. What's On Your Desk

Regarding the birthday resolutions, let me paraphrase The Great Yoda: Don't resolve do!

I'll put your name in my card book as unclassified until you do.

Jon,

Needs can be filled allot of ways. I have everything on line, but books add to life! Books from known sources are trusted friends, I've never felt that way about web sights.

It's not a matter of need it's a matter of quality of life! Technically vegetarians live, but I was raised on meat and potatos.
