Craigslist/Zillow has a New-ish Tool! Are You Using it?!

I stumbled upon a cool new tool for posting your listings to craigslist this morning, and figured it is definitely worth while to share. Typically when people post to CL they have an unstructrued, poorly functioning ad. Other people have a jpeg of their listing posted, and it looks pretty, but again not functioning well, and potentially doesn't contain all of the information you REALLY need to show off a listing. But now there is a SUPER cool tool on zillow built just for craigslist (and you can use it elsewhere too!)

Its that button! Right up there, circled in red.  How does it work? Click on edit, and then the drop down's "post to craigslist". It will bring you to a new page with html code generated JUST for you! Then, go to the area in craigslist in which you normally post, paste the code provided into the listing info, fill in the title and other info, and Viola! You have a totally clickable, well laid out ad posted on craigslist! Just don't forget to actually publish it!

You can see an example posting of one of my listings here!

Thanks for sharing the info - I use Craigs list a lot for posting ads and listings. This will definitely save time and give me an ad that looks professional.

I like the tool just not crazy about advertising the Zestimate.

Actually, it doesn't have the Zestimate on the listing produced. That is just a screen shot from where you click the button. Check out what it actually looks like by using the link above!

This is actually a function of Postlets.com which was purchased by Zillow and Zillow in turn making Postlets Pro version FREE and avaialble to all. Pretty cool.
