I had the great honor and opportunity to host the November Active Rain Carnival!  It was my pleasure to be able to host the consumer category: Regional News & Events.

I want to shout out a quick thank you to MF for all of her hard work in organizing the carnival. She has really done a fantastic job.

There were some great entries in this category, but there was a clear winner.  Congratulations to Chris Tesch!  She is the winner of the Regional News & Events category!!  Put your hands together! 

Her post entitled: Holiday Fun in Aggieland had an awesome list of local Christmas events including plays, concerts, fairs, carnivals, parades, and more.  All centered around a holiday theme.  I was pretty surprised to see so many events in a small town.  It got me excited about the season!

This post personified what it means to blog to a local audience.  If I was a customer of Chris' in College Station, TX.  I would be very impressed at how great of a handle Chris has on the community.
