I've been teaching in a bible college in Zaparozhye, Ukraine since the late nineties.  When I first started traveling to the Ukraine, it was a dangerous place.  The country had just come out of Communism into freedom, and they were not handling freedom very well.  We always said it was like the wild west.  It is still dangerous to some degree, but I'm more savvy about the dangers.  I'm aware, but not nearly as concerned as the early days.  In the early days it was intense.

On one of early trips I was having a time of prayer, and the Lord gave me a
vision.  In the vision, I was standing in the frame of a window.  The building was very tall, and the clouds were right outside my window.  In the vision the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "Jump."

In the vision I jumped on top of the clouds and didn't sink.  I knew He was trying to tell me not to worry about my safety.  From then on, I moved about the country with full confidence that God would protect me no matter where I was, and He did.  Some times in life we just need to take a leap of faith.  God will never encourage you to take that leap if He isn't going to be there to catch you.  In the process of that leap you will see the faithfulness of God.
