A week ago I posted a brief information about the Beta trial of our new "See it in Person, Negotiate On-line(TM)" service. While we don't have an offer acceptable to the Seller yet, we were positively surprised by a number of visitors during our Open House last Sunday. It was just amazing for this slow market - we had between 30 to 40 people stopping by between 1 and 4 PM. As a result - we extended online offers until Sunday, October 21st, 8 PM. We also offered additional incentives to agents who will brave the new on-line word of negotiaitions (you can make an offer, counter offer and all negotiations on line; once seller accepts someone offer - our system will spit up the CAR contract reflecting everything that was agreed on.
Additionally, we posted a few material changes. The seller agreed to provide financing to a buyer as an option and one of our lender offered buy down on the 5 years fixed ARM loan to 5.375% with two points. Also, we posted a letter from the Seller explaining his expectations.
