An acient Chinese philosopher once said, "Jouney of a thousand miles begins with a single step". Another interpretation of this reads, "Even the longest journey must begin where you stand". Either way, this is something to keep in mind when facing a large, seemingly overwhelming task. Any real estate professional who has acheived great success had that ONE first sale that launched his or her career. And that one first sale led to another, and so on. Half the battle in any endeavor is simply starting. Whether it's making an entire career or just making some cold calls for the day. Don't think about how big the task is. Just start!
A large part of my business involves helping buyers in search of Carmel homes for sale, as well as real estate in other areas of central Indiana. In every moment I ask, is there something I could be doing right now to help my business. What ACTIONS can I take right now to futher my goals? My advice to you: Formulate a plan and TAKE ACTION. At some point, you must stop thinking about the task before you and start working on it.
