It has been a dream to relocate to Sarasota, Florida for a long time, and I am finally here.  What a special place.  Sarasota offers so much more than any other city this size in the entire state, if not the country.  Wonderful year round weather, Gulf beaches (Siesta Key beach was recently ranked No.1 in the nation), a multitude of cultural activities, fine restaurants, sports activities, shopping, health services, a rich history . . . it is magical!

What a place to live.  Since the re-set of pricing of the last few years, Sarasota has also become a very affordable place to buy a home.  The variety is unbelievable.  There are large planned communities, historic neighborhoods, gated golf course communities, high rise condo living, townhome communities, you name it!  Gulf front, downtown, country club, condo or mansion, you name it.  The variety of homes and lifestyles is abundant.

The natural and man made beauty of the area is breathtaking.  The tropical landscape is flowering all year, there are waterways everywhere and the Gulf beaches are the finest you will find anywhere.

Sarasota is a sought after destination for people from all over the world.  It is sure to become ever more popular with retirees.  The cultural activities abound with a symphony, ballet, opera, theaters everywhere and world class museums.

The area has many medical facilities and doctors available for the current mature population (one third of the residents are over 65).  There are hundreds of restaurants of all kinds in all price levels.  There are art galleries, world class shopping, and more leisure activities than you can imagine.

Anyone interested in relocating to a tropical paradise who wants more than a beach and fishing owes it to themselves to take a look at Sarasota.  It is the best of all possible worlds!

Sarasota is the nicest town I've been to in Florida. There is a beautiful waterfront with a nice park and lots of cultural attractions. If I ever moved to Florida, it would be the Sarasota area.
