Katyhomefinder: Soccer World will get Rocked by USA Soccer on Sunday July 17, 2011 as the US Women’s team plays Japan in the Women’s World Cup Finals. The game will be televised on ESPN beginning at 2:00 PM (EDT). Sorry to tell the majority of Americans that the World’s Game is soccer and it was estimated last year that over 2 billion people across the world watched the Men’s World Cup Final. My family was part that group. This year I believe the Super Bowl ( I watched of course and it was a great game) had an audience of around 100 million!!
If we examine the rosters of all the teams competing in the Women’s World Cup, the US team from the last rated player on the team to the best player on the team is easily the BEST in the whole world as compared to all the others. They are faster, quicker, more physical, fitter and more talented than any other team. Their determined play will be prominently displayed on Sunday.
The US Team has tried to adopt the Spanish method of playing soccer which consists of patient precision passing and then quickly striking at the opponent but maintaining constant ball control as being the key weapons. The Spanish Men’s Team won last years World Cup and are still easily the best Team in the world right now. This group of American women never was able to make the Spanish style of play work for them. As the saying goes when the fat lady is starting to sing the Women’s Team has put pedal to metal and went full blast. The results are evident by the fact they are playing in the finals.

The US Women’s Soccer Team won a World Cup back in 1999 and it was a great moment for all USA Soccer. I am really sorry to say this but don’t expect the Men’s World Cup Team to win for a long long time.
