Well You didn't Use me to Buy Your House.  Sounds like an upset agent doesn't it but it's just a lead in to a very positive story of what being helpful to buyers out there brings to you.  These buyers had a Massachusetts buyer's agent long before they heard of me and read my Wickford RI blogs .  But they reached out to me because as the buyer said  'You know your area', we can tell from your blogs and their agent although patient did not have a clue about my Wickford RI - North Kingstown geographic area where they wanted to live.

So I did answer the email, gave some advice not once but several times, found them an appraiser and when asked my opinion on the house they had decided to buy told them they were offering to pay too much for the home.   All with this conversation went on with the knowledge of their buyers agent.  And yes, they knew they were going to pay too much for the home.  They bought it anyway- it was what they wanted exactly.

Well I've helped them find a house cleaner,  contractors and other home professionals all along the way.  In fact, I had a lovely evening with them recently at their new home which they didn't use me to buy.  But what an interesting couple and he is an internationally known expert in his field ( I've Googled him & wow).  Guess what they want me to find a good investment property for them to buy now.  All from being helpful and not growling about helping someone who is using another agent because good things do come back to you tenfold sometimes.  Just doing the right thing.

I will be searching hard for that investment North Kingstown house now...and I didn't say
