My Five Favorite Books
Well, I'll say these are more personal favorites. I have tons of business favorites, too.

Simple Abundance: A Day Book of Comfort and Joy
by Sarah Ban Breathnach
This book teaches how to create a life of meaning and abundance through simplicity and gratitude. If I see the cover of this book, I immediately want to grab a cup of hot chocolate or coffee and curl up for a few hours. It just makes me want to slow down and take things easy. It's really about paring down and learning to appreciate the simple things in life and learning to know oneself.

The Velveteen Principles: A Guide to Becoming Real
by Toni Raiten-D'Antonio
This one is about learning to be real and true. It's a very inspirational book and a quick and easy read.

Help Yourself: Finding Hope, Courage, and Happiness
by Dave Pelzer
An inspirational book, it makes me believe anything is possible.

Alice in Wonderland
by Lewis Carroll
A classic, who doesn't love this book?!

Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby
by Joel Chandler Harris and
presented by Walt Disney
I just love this book. It's so light-hearted and fun.
"Well, the grasshoppers jump, so do the fleas. I'll do what I like, and I'll suits me."
I loved hearing this story on the record player when I was little (yes, a record), and anytime I think of the songs, they always put me in a good mood.
Uncle Remus: "The weather's good, the fishin's fine. Now what do you do with all your time?"
Brer Rabbit: "Oh, I zigs and I zags, I to's and I fro's. That's what you're askin' and that's what you knows."
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah is fun, too.
