Clint McKie sometimes presents quirky posts and they are always worth checking out. I met Clint during the exhausting but fulfilling 31 Days of May Challenge. We were loyal to each other's posts for 31 days. You really get to know someone like that...don't you?

Clint's post today is getting re-blogged because he is the second blogger today to make me out and out smile big. Savor and scroll slowly when you read this and then stop at Clint's blog and give him his very own comment too.

It's Sunday, find some inner peace.

With all that's happening in our lives today, we need to find a solid place in order to find inner peace.

Be sure and read to the end.

Inner peace:

If you can start the day without caffeine,

If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat plain food everyday and be grateful for it,

If you can understand that your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism or blame without resentment,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax with out liquor,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

Then you are probably the family dog....

And you thought I was going to get all spiritual on you.

After a long and exhausting talk with our family pet "Rocky" I have come to understand the simple things in life.

But I still want my coffee in the morning. He just can't understand that. He says I need to get a life and slow down like him.

I told him I couldn't pay the bills if I slowed down. He said "and your point".

I can't win with this guy. LOL

Hi Peter and Linda, if you don't get irritated occasionally with your dogs - then you really don't have dogs! We have many days that if we hear one more barking fit, we think we'll go barking mad. But...in the very next instant all is good again. Glad you liked Clint's post.
