Hello all you sports fans in the Active Rain sports pavilion.

I know you're out there just waiting to bust out and brag about your favorite sports team.

Bring it on. Let's hear how your favorite team did against the competition this week.

Does one of your children have a game winning shot or play you want to brag about? Bring it here we'd love to read about it with pictures.

I'm a sports fanatic and I LOVE most sports. Golf,

Football, Basketball, Baseball and Hockey. Whether it's HS, College or Pro sports I love to read about it.

Bring it on. Game On as they say

We need a good sports picture to put on the new Group. Send me or post your best photo and I'll put on the group front tonight.

I loved watching the Bruins defeat the Trojans too. I usually root for the underdog except when they play any of my favorite teams of course.

Thanks Jay

Hi Jay, great name and I hope Favre can beat the Jets too. I always root for a team that is outside our division.

The Bears should be able to handle the Vikes especially when they are playing at home. I can't believe how hard hitting the Bears are. They pounded my Pats last week. Five turnovers and the Bears still lost.

Oh well, Can't wait for the playoffs.

Thanks Jay

Lets see if Florida comes up short. Will it be a popularity contest for the media voting for their area. The SEC and Southern football feels like slaves to the large media markets. The fans are ready for a playoff.

Hi Eric,

My son graduated from Auburn, AL and I am a fan of the SEC

I think Florida had a much tougher schedule and I think they should have a shot at Ohio State.

I'm sure Michigan fans won't agree.

Thanks Jay

I hated watching my Bugeaters go down to the Sooners yesterday.
I did create a group for Football Fanatics yesterday.  All things football!

Jay...I agree with you in regards to Florida.  I thought the BCS was supposed to iron all this out and make it pretty in the end...PLAYOFFS I SAY!

I live and die with UNC basketball...and even though it was an ugly win, it was GREAT to send UK and Tubby home with a loss yesterday!

And for football?  Kill the BCS!  Such a joke.  They complain that a playoff system would take too long..but the NFL does it in short order, so what's the difference?

I have always been a big fan of the Tar Heels going way back to when Bobby Jones played there. Former Philadelphia 76er star.

I too hate the BCS it's a joke. I am all in favor for a playoff. There is such a lag between now and January 1st that they can take the top teams and have a playoof to really determine which team is the best in College Football.

I also love March Madness.

Thanks Jay

We agree about the BCS. Go to a 16 team format with one playing 16 and lets see what happens. Play them in neutral sites to make it fair.

Agreed Jay, that game was a lot closer than it should have been.

And for Florida fans they are in, they will play Ohio State.  I don't think they have a chance, but they are getting their shop.

Hi George,

I thought the Ohio State vs Michigan was a great game. I'm wondering if Florida will have a chance too. Too bad we have so many weeks in between to wait. I'd rather see a playoff like Eric Bouler suggested.

Thanks Jay

I did not think UCLA would beat USC. Who would have thought Reggie Bush would score 4 times today. Given a month these teams can really get rested and some extra time for the freshman. Florida played 27 freshman this year. Tebow the freshman can only get better with more practice. I know Florida has the skill players to win. I know LSU has three of the best receivers that one team could have when all healthy. If your team has a good defense then it practices against some good personnel. Lets see what happens

Funny how some just assumed the Gators would be screwed.....and in the end...it's just fine.

Remember this in business as well as sports :^)

Now regarding the GB game.....geeze, someone thought GB could handle the Jets?  GB.su.......errrrr, isn't too good.

'My Raiders' held Texas to some ridiculously low numer of yards.....and STILL lost.

The Cowgirls and Girlie Men......didn't matter who won, Eagles fans savor who lost.

Hi Rob, Packer fans can hope can't they. Favre should have stayed retired.

Raiders are 2-10 and they hold Carr to 32 yds. passing and still lose. Oh well.  Thnaks for stopping by.

Hi Eli, Thanks for stopping by.

I'm not a big soccer fan unless it's the world cup. Maybe I'm not that much interested in soccer beacause there isn't enough scoring in it for me.

I was a big basketball fan when the Celtics were in their glory days.

I love the N.E. Patriots and their TEAM concept.

Golf 24/7

Thanks Jay

You want to laugh? my team back in the 80's was the Celtics as well...way before I've moved to Orlando.

The Patriots are indeed an excellent team, I must agree with that.

Hi Eli,

The Magic Johnson Larry Bird era along with Barkley, Jordan and Pippen was some of the best hoops played. I loved the old Celtics dating back to the early 60's now that was fun.

I followed the Magic when Shaq was there. I really like him and I did like Anfernee Hardaway as well.

Mike Alstott is a great football player and the Bucs can play tough but they just haven't done a whole lot since their Super Bowl Yr.

Thanks Jay
