What a romp! The only way to describe this book... I could not not put this book down. I love the characters.... Stone Barrington, an attorney whose shrewd, intelligent mind saves the day for his clients - all the while seemingly through a haze of Knob Creek cocktails, and fine wines... It's a little glimpse of the rich and famous without the reality show.... or done with intelligence... My only critique is that Mr. Barrington's sexual encounters are fast and furious (this is a man's book)... and as one of the ladies is with him one day and another man on another... I had that 'yucky' feeling but it did not seem to phase the character... There was also a terribly chauvinistic or perhaps realistic in one chapter... when his friend, detective, Dino Bacchetti, hooks up with an actress, and after several 'dates' asks whether he should take his new found lady friend to a party they are invited too. "No, quips Stone, "You might do better at the party.." Oh my!
A fun book. Great summer reading! This book was published in 2011.
