WTF!!! That was my response when I first saw this article on msn.com a few weeks ago. You see I have helped a ton of Cisco employees refinance or purchase their first home over the past years and it was shocking to hear that they were going to let go such a large amount of employees.
Then just yesterday I saw this article

It says that 6500 may not be enough and that the true number may be 11,500...HOLY COW!! That is trully sad and my heart goes out to anyone at Cisco who may be faced with a layoff.
This is sort of a follow up to my blog post yesterday about how HUD Secretary thinks we are on a "rebound", how when there are NO jobs in CA right now?
If you know of a friend or family member who works at Cisco and ISNT aware of this, which I doubt, might want to give them the heads up!
