Persistance is a State of Mind: How to Succeed in a Down Market
I am sitting here on my sofa, after a very busy day, watching Donald Trump on T.V., who just said that persistance is a state of mind. He is so very correct. Our job as Realtors is to be continually persistant.
Here is my day, today, in what is what is a supposed down market:
Up and at the computer at 7 A.M., to enter the beautiful listing I took at 8 P.M. last night.
Faxed an offer to a Broker on a Contract I wrote last night at 7 P.M.
Faxed Contracts to two Attorneys for a listing of mine I sold yesterday.
Ran to the office, 9 AM to bring in the new listing, and set the ad for the Open House on Sunday.
Run a Market Analysis for a CMA I am presenting at 4 P.M. today.((9:30 A.M.)
Sit an Open House for the Realtors on a new listing I have (11-1).
Negotiate inspection issues on a house I have sold that is Under Contract
Negotiate the contract I have faxed earlier this morning..Contract accepted..Call to buyer to tell him the good news.
1 P.M. - Take interior pictures of my beautiful new listing (took the exterior pics yesterday when the sky was a beautiful blue.
Home to walk my sweet puppie!!
Work on the pics I have taken
Answer e mails from customers on my website who want to see my beautiful listings.
Present my market analysis at 4 P.M. Discuss many issues with the homeowner.
5 P.M. Meet the buyers of the Contract I put together, to have them initial all the changes.
6 P.M. Run another CMA to be presented tomorrow.
7 P.M. Take an Internet Class
8 P.M. Dinner with my husband..
9 P.M. Blog and watch Donald Trump
The Realtors who are succeeding in this market LOVE this business. We thrive on hard work, on helping our clients achieve their goals, and in putting deals together.
Persistance is definitely the key.
