The winter months provide a wonderful skiing experience at Sandia Ski Area. Bring a jacket, your camera and a dose of courage!  You may want to consider hiking the La Luz Trail for a more intiment experience of the Sandia Mountains.

John,  this is terrific.  Nothing worse than going into a new city and not knowing what sights to visit.

What a great list - I would want to do them all.  I'd add going to lunch at Tim's Place - it's a restaurant owned by a young man with down's syndrome.  Reading his story was so uplifting.

Hey Q-man, what a wonderful post for visitors to your area. It really highlights your knowledge of Albuquerque too. Very smart. ( It seems that I just saw a post on Facebook about a trip to the Aquarium with your lovely bride). Glad you take advantage of the area attractions.
