Who MEME!? Here's a few things to know!

By
Real Estate Agent with Leo Parker Real Estate & Auction

I was checking out my email and surprise... I had been meme'd! Me, I thought... Yep, it was me. My friend Dionne had nominated me for a MEMEME. How sweet of her to think of me! I pondered this over wondering what I should tell about me, there are so many things to say after all. LOL! Well... actually maybe there aren't so many things to tell but I just like to talk. Kind of funny since...

I used to be a very shy growing up! Seems funny because that is certainly not the way one would describe me now. Guess I kind of came out of my shell. Paths we travel through life has a way of changing us and helping us to grow. Goes to show that you can't predict how the shy little girl in your class may turn out. I remember shortly after joining my Real Estate Company, I was talking to a guy at my office that I went to school with. He told me that when someone told him that I had interviewed & asked if he remembered me... he said "yes, she was a quiet girl". The guy just looked at him, laughed and said..." Not anymore!!"

I LOVE books and it really doesn't matter what kind. Books about self help, sci-fi, art, gardening, romance, health, religion, basket weaving, recipe books, you name it... I may have one. I plan on including a large library in my next home. I also love reading magazines of many sorts as well ranging from Entrepreneur and Inc all the way to Taste of Home. At least I am well rounded. :)

When I have time to myself, which is not often I might add... I really like to work on my scrapbooks, practice my photography, draw & paint, go to the movies, garden, read- of course, play with my puppy, find new ways to decorate my house, surf on the Internet, write, blog, design sales materials... too many things to list here.

My favorite kind of food is Italian, I like breads better than dessert, my favorite time of the year is autumn & my favorite color is purple... I also don't care at all for breakfast foods unless it is Cocoa Pebbles or French Toast. Pizza is good cold for breakfast!

My favorite Bible verse is: Matt. 17:20 "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." I believe that a little faith can go a long way! My dad taught me to believe in myself too and that I can do anything I set my mind to... I usually do. Thanks, Dad!

Ok... my nominees for MEME's are: Nicolette Ceballos, Kathleen Lordbock, and Keith Elliot Jr.

Let's hear your MEME's!

Congratulations you did it. It is kinda fun preparing a post on yourself, isn't it?

I am a 'Toastmaster'. Introducing ourselves (which is typically our first speech) is called an 'Ice Breaker'

I enjoyed reading your Meme post. Now I have learned a little bit about you. So you went from quiet to vocal- great.. What I enjoyed most is your favorite scripture. We need faith in our daily lives and in our careers (especially in this market) .

Best wishes in all you do. You take care. We will talk soon.

Melissa ~ Thanks for sharing some information about yourself.

I used to be shy when I was younger too, but kind of forced myself out of that.  No matter where I am (party, meeting) I always make it a point to go up to someone and introduce myself and start talking; it's usually to someone else that I think looks like they don't know anybody there either.

I also love to read.  I'm into mystery/thriller books.  My bookshelves are full and I am under orders not to bring another new book into the house.  So, I have been visiting the library again and a used bookstore ($3.00 for hardcovers).  I will be going through all my books this winter and donating some of them to clear the shelves a bit.

Nice meeting you!

Melissa,

I prefer Fruity Pebbles! ;)

I just added your meme to my alphabetical meme list.  Check it out when you get a chance.  Also, would you please let your nominees know that it's okay to link their memes in the comment section of my post?  Thanks!  It's easier to find them.

Take care,

Lucky :)

Hey Dionne! Thanks for stopping by! I had fun reading your MEME too!

Nice to meet you too Kathy!

Hey Lucky! What a list and a lot of work! Fruity Pebbles is a close relation, don't you think!?

Melissa,

Fruity Pebbles is a close relation.  But for me, close only works for horseshoes and hand grenades!

I haven't heard from your nominees.  How are they doing?

Lucky :)

Hey Melissa, I know I haven't posted my Meme yet but I will do it soon. I was on vacation last week in Mexico and so the week before I was extremely busy and was not able to get it done.  I promise I will have it done this week.  Hope all is well.

Melissa I thought about your favorite scripture today. Matt. 17:20 "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

In this market I need two grains! This market too shall pass. We will survive.

Great Kathleen! I will take a look at it!

No kidding Dionne! I am needing a reminder of that scripture today myself as I simmer over the 350K deal that just fell through. Oh how sad I am! I HATE foreclosure homes and dealing with greedy real estate agents and banks. Can't believe some of the stuff they pull. Back to the search...
