We recently started a weekly group at our office to generate some new ideas for getting our business going and to keep us accountable. Strategies are challenging in today's market, and I believe we can stand together as a group, and learn from our seasoned agents. We experienced a similar market 20 years ago. History has a way of repeating itself. So with this being said, we need to go back to the basics of networking and building our relationships with our potential clients.
Farming has always been a favored part of marketing in real estate. The most common mode of farming is by mailers. This can be expensve. A second mode of mailer transportation is by foot. Not too costly, but difficult for some. A new mode of delivery is to have a company walk the mailers. This is about 1/2 the cost of the post office bulk mail system. These are the people that sometimes deliver the "pizza" advertisements to our door steps. It will get the job done once a month at half the cost!
