I used to live in Canyon Lakes West off of Fry Rd. in Cypress, TX. I liked the neighborhood because I knew a lot of my neighbors and they were all really great people. We were lucky to have such great neighbors, but it’s not quite the neighborhood that Bridgeland is.
I road cycle around 30 to 40 miles a couple times a week through my area, so I get a good feel of what all the local neighborhoods are like. I have to say that Bridgeland is far superior to any of the neighborhoods around Cypress. Black Horse Ranch and Cypress Creek Lakes are very nice also, but still not to the level of Bridgeland. When we first moved to Cypress, we would hear rumors that Bridgeland was going bankrupt and that it was a risky place to buy. I wish we would have ignored the advice and bought there anyway. All the rumors turned out to be false. In my opinion, the REALTORS that gave me that advice just seemed nervous because the builders in Bridgeland were getting a lot of business. As a REALTOR, I want to promote Bridgeland because I ride through there twice a week and it is consistently well-maintained with stunning surroundings. If you haven’t been through the Bridgeland community, I would highly suggest that you make a trip through there the next time that you are in the area. I took the above picture with my iPhone when I stopped for a break yesterday during my ride. I plan on putting up more pictures in the future.
